You can even use the shelves to stack presents such as bottles of wine, or small and breakable items in while using it as a Christmas Tree.

$120 gets you the actual tree you see here.
$95 will get you a new tree made like this, unpainted

and has been lightly stained and finished with clear polyurethane.

MUM MIRROR -$60

All of our unique mirrors are top quality & made by a fully qualified tradesman.

This Mirror is made from recycled pallet slats framing a 5mm thick bevel edged safety mirror (plastic film on back). The mirror has been rebated (*see last picture for details) into the frame and then fixed with professional grade mirror adhesive.

The joints in the frame have been reinforced with nail plates on the back as well as the steel letters on the front which were cut out with a plasma cutter. You don't have to worry about this mirror warping and falling apart like all the rest you find at markets and in homewares stores.

Dimensions are: Mirror glass 50cm x 30cm, Mirror frame: 65cm x 50cm
Mirror frame has been finished with clear polyurethane.

*This last picture shows the detail of the rebate, which is basically a groove that has been routered into the timber. This allows the glass to be fully supported around it's entire edge while also making the frame much stronger at the same time. You can also see the metal mail plate that has been fixed across the joint.

LOVE SHELF #1 -$250

This shelf unit is made from large sections of a timber pallet (approx 160mm x 55mm). Each letter measures 45cm high x 34cm wide. Total unit height is 180cm (6 feet high). We can make these in any word you wish (4-5 letters is best)

This shelf is much stronger than all the home made ones, you see on the net. The back of each joint is reinforced with "nail plates" and each joint has been fastened with nails, construction adhesive and batten screws. A metal brace has also been added from the "E" to the "O" and a heart shaped brace added to prevent the shelf from falling forwards (folded, braced and welded checkerplate). You will never find these features on any other shelves of this style!

This shelving unit has been finished with "Whitewash"

PONCHO's BED -SOLD

*This Custom Dog Bed was a special order, and had to measure 500mm front-back x 650mm wide x 500mm high, have a covered roof, plus one wall had to be covered with "flaps". We were also told that the dog loves the sun, and likes fresh air, and that it also has to look like the "Pallet Dog Bed" we make. This is the design we came up with (dog and owner love it, husband refuses to sleep in it!!!).

DOG BED #1 -$160

This Dog Bed is more like a lounge. Dimensions are: 104cm x 68cm x 38cm high. More can be made to order, any size, style and colour you wish. Comes with two pet cushions that are hypo-allergenic. Bone can have dogs name painted on it or turn it over to use it as a blackboard (back has been painted in blackboard paint)

Vertical Garden #1 -MADE TO ORDER

This vertical Garden is made from a 44 gallon drum that has been cut into three and welded to a steel frame. As you can see by the pics the veges absolutely love it. The seedlings were only planted about 4-5 weeks ago!

We can make designs like this, any size or configuration you want. This one was made so that each of my kids had a "garden" each. The 2y.o. got the bottom, the 5y.o. the middle, and the 10y.o. the top!
*the bottom shelf is a bit bare due to our 2y.o. repeatedly tearing out the plants ...fortunately she can't reach the top!

Multi-Use COFFEE TABLE - Under Construction -9th Oct 2014

This arrangement consists of 4 "stools" that can be assembled to make a coffee table or stacked to make a corner unit. You could also use it as a semi-circular side table/shelves, or maybe even two sets of bed side tables. The uses are endless, and ideal for moving house or simply rearranging every now and again!

This multi-purpose unit is nearly finished. I just have to add a few more boards to one of the stools, and router the front edges or the shelves/table. I plan on staining these with a medium stain and then overcoating with a gloss white "crackled" finish. If you want something different then email Kerryn ASAP.

This has been made from recycled pallets as well as some pine lining boards and trim. Has all been glued as well as nailed. Dimensions are:

Each "stool": 40cm x 40cm x 45cm high
Coffee table: 80cm diameter, 45cm high
Corner unit: 40 cm x 40 cm x 180cm high

ROCKING CHOPPER - Harley style Rocking Horse - $250 *SOLD*

This Rocking Chopper has been made from galvanised pipe, leaf springs, coil springs, rolled sections of checker plate and a few more bits and pieces. It was then washed down with hydrochloric acid, hosed off, and left to rust. Once it had a decent coating of rust it was then wire brushed, treated and finally clear coated.

This rocking horse/chopper  is incredibly stable, and a similar one I made has regularly held 4 kids at once, standing and sitting in all sorts of positions, without ever tipping over. I can't say the same when drunken fathers have rocking competitions at parties though!

Dimensions are-
Length: 130cm
Width of rockers: 38cm
Handlebar height: 60cm
Handlebar width: 45cm
Seat height: 30cm
Rear wheel width: 160mm

If you think you can make one better yourself, then good luck getting it to balance and rock. This one almost rocks by itself. I guarantee you will have a few sitting in your garden before you get it right!

I have made a few of these in the past that had coffin tanks, two pistons for motor, springer front ends, sissy bars, custom paint jobs etc, and will be making some more soon. But, if you like that Junkyard, Ratrod look then this may be the "Rocking Chopper" for you!

This Rocking Chopper has been SOLD. 3 more currently being made, with piston motors, coffin tanks etc

TREE TRUNK TABLE - SOLD

This Coffee Table was made for a customer that lived on Norfolk Island as a child. The table is made from a section of Norfolk Pine that was taken from approx 95 feet up a 120 foot high tree, that was cut down on the Currumbin Beach front (Gold Coast, QLD, Australia) due to a council order!

The trunk and branch section was then allowed to dry naturally for 18 months before being debarked and sanded. The base pieces were then mortised through each other before being trenched into, and bolted to, the trunk section. The branches were then cut back to a level surface, lightly stained and then coated with clear polyurethane, and the glass sat on top. The glass table top measures 120cm (4 feet) in diameter.

This Table looks spectacular in real life. No photo can ever do it justice!
